From road racing to the drag strip in every form of competition, from touring to high output street machines to show winning customs. For over two and a half decades, MEGAFLO prepared cylinder heads have successfully powered every conceivable incarnation of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle to the front of the pack.

Andrew Rosa, owner of  Rosa's Cycle in Huntington, NY and his 9.2 second stock frame Shovelhead. Equipped with MEGAFLO prepared STD castings. Read more about Andrew's recent racing efforts here.

Russell Hildenbrand, Ruffsdale, PA and his AHDRA Pro Fuel dragster "Plum Crazy". Custom STD/MEGAFLO heads. 1/4 mile ET 6.88 at 204.2 mph.

John Levak's AHDRA Hot Street Buell was finished at the end of the 2007 season with no time for any dyno work and only 5 practice passes at the local track, then off to Rockingham! The result was a 9.98 1/4 mile ET out of this MEGA-FLO built 91 cubic inch S&S based engine. The stock Buell chassis (with extended swing arm), DOT tire, NO WHEELIE BARS, manual clutch and shifting along with the OEM charging system, makes for true street class racing! Except for the additional 70 lbs added to meet class weight restrictions! To see a flash video of John's first 9 second pass (broadband users), left click in the image .

A FEW INTERESTING POWER CHARTS:

88 cubic inch Buell, built at MEGAFLO for AHDRA Hot Street class.133 RWHP, has turned 1/4 mile ET's of 10.3 @ 130+ MPH in street trim (DOT tire, no wheelie bars, full charging system, manual clutch and shifting). Levak Brothers Racing.

Mike Slater's "EZ Build Evo". 80cubic inches with MEGAFLO E80SS2 port package, Wiseco pistons, 560V cam, Mikuni 42mm carb and slip-on mufflers with altered baffles. Mike works for New Castle Harley-Davidson and tuning was "seat of the pants" to 99 RWHP, 4th gear SAE.

Did Someone say "Shovelheads are dead"?  I think not. Spare me the current onslaught of "old school" sensationalists, many of whom were in diapers when the last Shovels rolled out of the factory in 1984. It is the school were I started and I am not old.

This example was built at MEGAFLO for Chris Callen of  the Cycle Source magazine (who was in diapers when the last Shovelhead rolled out of the factory in 1984). S&S 98 inch kit, with a moderate 10.3 compression, Andrews M grind cam and MEGAFLO prepared custom STD castings, 100+  RWHP at only 5300 RPM. Chris can either pull stumps or put quite a few  "built" 95 inch Twin Cams to shame!

Back in the previous millennium when Twin Cams were new there was not yet much in the way of performance components.. This 95 inch 1999 FXD owned and assembled by the late "Uncle Dennis" Gonatas used MTC 10.5:1 pistons  with an Andrews 560 cam set, an E series exhaust with 32 plates, S&S Super G carb and a newly developed MEGAFLO SS2.0 port package to achieve 115+ RWHP! In it's first outing at the track during March of 2000, in 100% street trim, 11.43 ET piloted by nephew Nick Gonatas.
